Please call, email, Facebook, tweet and/or visit Speaker Boehner and Representative Upton. We need to ensure that RAISE is passed by the end of the year.

With 107 cosponsors, House Resolution 298 (the RAISE Resolution) has come a long way, but this important legislation is only a few days away from “dying in committee”. The bill needs to be released from committee before it can be voted on and passed…

Dr. Oz is well-known and respected world-wide. He also has an open ear. What we need to do is all participate repeatedly in his “Ask Dr. Oz” http://www.doctoroz.com/ask


Epilepsy Awareness Brainstorm!

This is about awareness, not fundraising. Although if funds came out of it, that’s ok!

Last night, I kicked around the idea of starting a grass-roots epilepsy advocacy group. (The working name is Epilepsy Awareness Alliance, although it doesn’t matter.)

Nothing to do with the government, but probably with some ties or support info from the EFA.

We could have informal talks, appealing to religious organizations, local schools and colleges, neighbors, friends. Even Facebook pages — for those who have them…
