  1. Please look up VIMPAT drug. No side effects like others. Depakote gives kidney stones and fatty liver. Humana has NO deductible in 2021. I paid $400 deductible in 2020.

  2. For those who are interested in things like Astrology or Numerology……. 2020 (added together) is a ‘4’ year…… 4 is the number of hard work to create stability and foundation! Nature shows us strong foundations with square shapes….. i.e. 4 corners, 4 walls…… or nature shows us many of the animals that make up the world, have 4 legs! And as many of us have already recognized, 2020 was definitely a year of hard work and effort!!

As 2021 rolls around we look to a ‘5’ year, representing abundance after hard work!! So keep yer chin up, and look for the wonderful opportunities that a 5 year brings after all your hard work and effort!!

Have patience and stay strong! The answers are out there! And thank you and blessings to you Phylis for all your hard work and effort, I hope you reap some wonderful rewards this year!!

    Happy New Year everyone!

  7. Hello, I am caregiver for my husband, who is 73 and has been having short term memory loss and epileptic seizures for 10 years. He had contracted Viral Epilepsey when we were sailing in SE Asia. Keppra and Vimpat pretty much kept him seizure free for a number of years but this summer he began having numerous seizures and spent a few weeks in the local hospital in an induced coma to keep seizures at bay and another week at Mayo bringing him out of the coma. Since then He has had numerous grand mall and petit mall seizures as well as periods of confusion. Because of COVID I can not find a local caregiver support group. Are you aware of something I could find online? Thank you for listening, Karen Kreitzberg, beachwo@gmail.com, 850-297-0325

    • Karen, if you go to Facebook and type “epilepsy” in the search bar, a number (about 10) of support groups will come up. You can go from there and you’ll see they’ll morph into other groups that are epilepsy related with different titles.

      Good luck.

      • I am merely happy Phylis that you knew what you recommended to Karen who was looking for help and did just that!
