Food or medications — which would you choose? | March 30, 2026

It’s heartbreaking, but all too common…

A patient calls their doctor after repeated seizures.

He had missed his medication for about a week. He had recently been laid off and lost insurance coverage.

He couldn’t afford to refill his eslicarbazepine acetate (Aptiom) prescription.

    Here in America we have social services that if u are poor you will receive medical for free.

    Not sure what type of sympathy this article is trying to convey but u r falling for it hook line and sinker.
