A neurologist talks about his own epilepsy… | August 27, 2024

In this eye-opening article from the New York Times, a neurologist talks about his own journey with epilepsy: his perceptions, other people’s reactions (not good) and how he decided to become a neurologist.

A wonderful account of the doctor as patient and “must” reading for anyone who has epilepsy…

I Am VERY PROUD Of This Man Who Beat All Odds By Becoming A Most Wonderful And Compassionate Neurologist, Himself.
Nothing Was Mentioned About *Family. But I Have To Believe He Had A POSITIVE Upbringing From Them. For It SOUNDS Like He Was Told: “You Can Do ANYTHING!” Does Not Mean He Was Told Those Words. But SOMETHING POSITIVE WORKED.

    Again. THANK YOU, My Phylis

Unfortunately, I was treated like a pariah.

But in the end, I showed them anyway!!!
