She’s gone country… | July 22, 2025

To the land of Grand Ole Opry.

This 72 year-old-woman is gonna swivel her cowboy boots on (ouch!), dust off her hat and go to Nashville.

The spirit’s willing, so why not the rest?

P.S. Anyone know anything about Nashville?

I went to Nashville in 2015. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on McGavock Pike. The Country Music Hall of Fame isn’t too far from the hotel. There’s a restaurant close to the hotel but I can’t remember the name of it. I went for a company event, so I didn’t have much time to do anything else. The Opryland Hotel is also close to the Holiday Inn Express.

The Country Music Hall of Fame is on my niece’s list, but I didn’t know about the Opryland Hotel.

    Thanks!

Believe it or not I’ve been in a city about 20 miles east of Nashville (Lebanon) about 10 times in the last two years and I haven’t stopped by. I remember going to downtown Nashville about five years ago and it was a fun place to visit.

Fun is the name of the game. And I can’t wait to spend some together time with my niece.
