“I cried because I had no shoes…
But then I met a man who had no feet.”

About the author
I've been a professional copywriter for over 35 years. I also had epilepsy for decades. My mission is advocacy; to increase education, awareness and funding for epilepsy research. Together, we can make a huge difference. If not changing the world, at least helping each other, with wisdom, compassion and sharing.

I may have had epilepsy and went through a lot of seizures but a lot of my family (the oldest three of six kids and my mom) had pancreatitis and had to put up with a lot of pain. One brother became the first person to have his pancreas removed. It helped him live to be 72 but my sister was only 31, other brother was 52 and my mom was 54.
This helped me in two ways: to put up with epilepsy and to have no fear of my temporal lobectomy.

Oh Ed, How sorry I am for your family. Yet joyous about you and your successes.
