Where’d she go? | October 23, 2024

To Seattle for dinner. Seattle? Yup.

I know, that’s a long way for dinner.

(And boy, did I mess up my flight times!)

But it’s my auntie’s 85th birthday and I feel since she’s special, I should make the day as special as her.

A few years ago, she showed up as a surprise from New York when I was receiving an honor.

I was more than surprised. I was deeply touched.

So, this is my long distance way of saying “Thank You Aunt Sally. I love you.”

See ya on Sunday!

Hi Phyllis, good for u, a nice little break for u. Just make sure u take an umbrella, since it rains every other day there. Beautiful green place. I used to live across the bay from Seattle.

Emily, I’m in the plane (still). My seat mates tell me it’s another hour from the airport to the hotel. WOW.

It’s gonna be a loooong break!
