I’ll be off the web from Friday 5/11 — Wednesday 5/16, spending some quality “together time” with my niece.
I’m sorry if any of my responses are delayed.
Please take care of one another.
I’ll be thinking of you…

About the author
I've been a professional copywriter for over 35 years. I also had epilepsy for decades. My mission is advocacy; to increase education, awareness and funding for epilepsy research. Together, we can make a huge difference. If not changing the world, at least helping each other, with wisdom, compassion and sharing.
Hope you have a great time! đ

I recently read that someone with Epilepsy wanted to have âI am an epilepticâ tattooed on themselves, any thoughts on this one?

All of us need a GOOD TIME OUT, not only when we’re unconscious / time out from a grand mal seizure.

Have any of my friend out there have family member tell you that you blame them for your illness. I was diagnosis at age 48 and know nobody can fix it. I was just wondering if any one have had family who just cant except your seizures or look them up.

Unfortunately many of us are in the same boat.
My mother wouldnât even say the âEâ word and treated me like a pariah.
But somehow I made it through with grit and determination.
Try to find a support group. Surround yourself with positive friends who accept you as you are.
