Shelter dog saves man from seizure | June 27, 2025

They say that “dog is man’s best friend.”

Well, in this case, it couldn’t be more true.

Sienna was up for adoption when she saw a man showing signs that he was about to have a seizure.

The 3-year-old lab and pit bull mix orphan – dashed to his side and gently placed her paw on his leg.

No matter that she had never met him or that nobody knew she had this innate talent.

Josh was showing signs of a myoclonic seizure — his eyes fluttering and jerking.

He had forgotten to take his morning meds.

“When Josh moved over a few steps, Sienna did, too, She put her paw on his leg again” said Josh’s wife Kristen.

Read about how Sienna became a Facebook star, a seizure hero and how she found a forever home.
