I read his book a couple of years ago. And it resonated with what we had gone through with my son. Finding a good neurologist is absolutely essential. But there is so many out there that just do half ass jobs. And they really don’t care about their patient. I think that as a mom, Kurt’s mom was one of his best advocates. And I have done that with our son. I highly recommend this book. It will open your eyes to see that it’s OK to change doctors and find one that really really cares about you and wants to help you.

Kurt certainly went through his fair share of hell. Happily, he had an advocate like you. And many positive people to support him.

I met him at a lecture/book signing and he was amazing.

He gave me his contact information but admitted that if I emailed, he’d have no idea who I was!

My daughter bought a copy for both of us shortly after this was published. She wanted more insight on what I was going in my life. I’m grateful that he laid bare his life and gave others an opportunity to understand Epilepsy. I recommend this book above all others!! Very inspiring and insightful!!
