Get Rid of Unwanted Facebook Posts! | October 25, 2014

Your Facebook feed can easily become a confused mess of posts from people you would rather not hear from, ads from companies you are not interested in and announcements from groups you don’t remember. But there are easy solutions for all of these problems.

Prioritize friends by sorting them into close friends and acquaintances—close friends’ posts will be featured more prominently.

Unfollow people who post too much—pull down the arrow on the right side of a post, and click unfollow.

Hide specific ads by pulling down the arrow next to them and choosing the option to hide all ads from that brand—although this blocks only that specific advertiser.

Cut back on groups that you no longer care about by going to your newsfeed page, clicking on “More” in the left column next to “Groups,” then clicking on the wheel icon—you can remove yourself from a group or turn off notifications from it.

It is also a good idea to review your privacy settings to make sure that Facebook can’t spy on you.

    • Cynthia , would you mind posting your reply on 2014-2015 Comprehensive List of GOOD Neurologists…Epileptologists…Neurosurgeons…and Pediatric Doctors (you’ll see the article on the “Top Posts” in the right hand column) so that others can know of your fantastic success and share it?

Your information is invaluable and it would be so great posted on a place where people look for great docs.

Also, could you say where he’s located in addition to his email and telephone?

That would be such a tremendous help and asset.

      A million, trillion thanks!
