Top Psychiatric Hospitals in the U.S. | January 10, 2013

The U.S. News & World Report’s annual psychiatric hospital survey is valued for its integrity, its impartiality and the method by which each hospital is rated.

Criteria for the survey is: hospital reputation and satisfaction…details of the services provided…plus patients’ feedback about their experiences.

The 15 hospitals ranked in Psychiatry were named as among the best for challenging cases and procedures by at least 5 percent of the psychiatric specialists who responded to U.S. News surveys in 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Another 167 hospitals received nominations from one or more physicians. They are listed alphabetically, below the ranked hospitals.

So if you’re looking for an evaluation, recommendation, doctor or referral, I think you should carefully consider these hospitals and their credentials…

I dont think this very good procentage regaring help with all of eperlescy Adulids children inclided i myself is eperpertic im in my 40s now and they keep bringing out differant medercastions that are cheaper because to save money but how do we know these mediasions will be ok for us , also ive done walkrounds around the hospitals in the U kindom for access around it for the disabled as i am its great to here there doing somethink in the U S but i think 5 proent isnt alot is there anyone out there who aggres wiith me and maybe someone should be looking at the hospitals /mebs out there too
these are my thoughts than u for lisoning .

I think there should be a disabled /eperpeic person to go on a walkrounds in the hospitals with a meber of staff but see if they have a patients voice meetings thats what they call it over here its were they all meet up and chate. And regarding the medicaion and G Ps ialso i feel that we should make it aware whats happeng because theres many peole out ther isnt there just haveing to put up with this and its us as peole /paitients chilchen reling on the doctors consaltants who give these medicasions in the fist place whom were to trust , prohaps get more people involved somehow too by getting there storys .

I agree!

I also think nurses should be thoroughly trained. And in addition to group therapy (Which over here is at LEAST once a day), they should have support groups — moderated by a psychiatrist or neurologist — where people can ask questions, voice concerns, vent and support each other.

there again why couldnt a carea / pa do for them prohaps theres always a way aroud things get people involed in what to do and how come on someone out there other than me and yourself must have some ideas we must get the word out there for the help of the help of those whom need it :]

I couldn’t agree more. That’s why we formed an epilepsy support group IN a hospital.

For people to ask questions, voice their concerns, get answers, reassurement and help.

I agree!
