Wow Millie, that's dreadful. I know that when they put me on Respridol, I threw up like crazy. But that's small potatoes compared to your situation.

I've never heard of that happening on a Ketogenic Diet, but you know, all the evidence is considered "anecdotal." (Lot of good that does you.)

I don't know where you live but here's a the 2012 List of GOOD Neurologists…Epileptologists…Neurosurgeons…and Pediatric Doctors. (Pediatric docs are at the bottom.)

Oh Adrienne, my heart goes out to you.

Perhaps this article could help you find out what other tests are available to you:

Beyond EEGs…Diagnostic Tools for Epilepsy
http://epilepsytalk.com/2010/09/13/beyond-eegs%e2%80%a6diagnostic-tools-for-epilepsy-2/

Actually, I'm really stumped. Would a second opinion help? Could a Rheumatologist help? (I say that because my husband has raging neuropathy from his butt to his feet and it was discovered by a rheumatologist. That was after a podiatrist, head neurologist at Penn, a naturopath and dozens of doctors, plus e-xrays galore.)

I really don't have any answers. Arthur will have neuropathy for the rest of his life. And like you, his activities have been limited.

I hope you find a diagnosis better than his. Something that can be "fixed." And whatever you do, don't try to diagnose yourself!

Im a 52 yr old african american women, 2yrs ago I started to loose mobiltiy in my left foot (dragging) frequent cramping and balance and coordination. I no longer have the ability to run and i have difficulty walking and climbing up/down stairs. My neurologist has conducted numerous test (MRI, EMG, spinal tap, blood work) but still not diagnosis, This is very frustrating and I dont know what to do at this point. Of course I have self diagnosed everything from ALS, MS, Parkinson etc and this has not helped my mental state, I am really in need of help determining what it is I may have. I welcome your comment or suggestion,

We have a wonderful epilepsy clinic at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham. I had surgery almost nine years ago, and have been seizure-free since. LMK and I will be glad to refer you to some wonderful, caring doctors.
